The Music of Laurel Canyon: Joni Mitchell & Jackson Browne

This is the second tribute show celebrating the music of the singer, songwriters who lived and created the Laurel Canyon scene in Los Angeles in the late 60’s to the early to mid-70’s.

Tonight, we feature two of the most innovative songwriters; Joni Mitchell and Jackson Browne both wrote songs that were deeply personal, vulnerable and exposed themes like loss, heartbreak, love, and politics.

Local artists will perform songs by Mitchell and Brown tonight: Jim Brunberg, Kris Deplane, Philip Stanton, Catherine & Eddie Murphy, Rachel Produced by Darka Dusty, the show features Rachel Brashear, AC Sapphire, Ben Lansverk, Jacob Westfall, Lane Norberg, Anandi & Mike Doolin, Darka Dusty & Miri.

All proceeds from the Laurel Canyon series will benefit humanitarian charities working with the people of Ukraine.
