Three acts play tonight:
Bird & Willow: Jared and Shiloh are a sibling songwriting duo born and raised in San Jose, California. Born at the intersection of Bird and Willow, it’s fitting that their name reflects a sense of place and their family roots. Since starting to perform live in the Bay Area in 2016, Bird and Willow has shared the stage with acts from across the US and Canada including Sherwood, Tyson Motsenbocker, The Collection, Fialta, and Mike Edel. The latest single, Cloth, showcases their honest songwriting at its most vulnerable, and is just a taste of what is to come.
Will Payne Harrison: After a successful full-length release in the Summer of 2017, including landing on the Americana Radio charts, opening up for Avett Brother’s father Jim Avett, and packing out Listening Rooms in the North and South, Will Payne Harrison is following up East Nashville Blues with a 6-song companion EP of covers with the likes of John Prine, Hank Williams and Steve Earle as well as an original track. Blue is the common thread of the new EP with each song containing the word in the track. For more information on tour dates and EP release, please visit www.willpayneharrison.
Shiloh Mae is a songwriter from San Jose, CA with a strong proclivity for words. She has been writing since age 14, using piano, guitar, and voice as a vehicle for her stories. Her songwriting is lyric driven, seeking to tap into the human experiences we all share. Since establishing a respected and ubiquitous presence in the SF Bay Area scene as half of the duo Bird and Willow, she has begun work on a solo record with seasoned producer/engineer Justin Kawashima, and looks forward to bringing this new repertoire of songs to life and offering them to new listeners.
