It’s a burlesque show celebrating all music genres.
Will you hear 90’s country music? Maybe modern jazz? Two tone ska or gothic industrial? Or will you hear it ALL??
The playlist will be both familiar and eclectic.
This show is being dually hosted by PDX Nightlife, /DJ William the Bloody and by Essie Hex, Portland’s resident bizarre burlesque babe.
Together with a cast of talented performers you will be introduced to music genres in ways you haven’t experienced before.
William is the true melophile and will serve up obscure facts and Essie will talk about the tantalizing talent and test your music trivia.
Bring your brains cuz you’re gonna learn while you yearn and party like a smarty!
Genre Sl*t Burlesque is an offshoot of the monthly dance night at Coffin Club by the same name.
